'JeeDubDub' SEO Contest Launched.
Everyone knows that Google changes the way they rank sites on a regular
basis. Now that the algorithm's change regularly and everyone is competing
again can you take a page to #1? More importantly, can you keep it there?
GWW is giving away $350 in prizes to any Webmaster or SEO who can take their
page to #1 for the search term "JeeDubDub". Get there any way you
can to win a prize.
The competition is judged at three different stages and prizes will be
awarded to the person who has the #1 listing on the 18th October, 18th
November and, the 18th December.
The competition runs from the 18th of September to the 18th of December
2005.
The first prize of a $50 Amazon gift card goes to the person that owns the
page ranked #1, on the 18th October 2005.
The second prize of a 120GB external USB hard drive goes to the person that
owns the page ranked #1, on the 18th November 2005.
The third prize of a brand new iPod Nano goes to the person that owns the
page ranked #1, on the 18th December 2005.
All prizes will be sent out 5 days after the close of the competition on the
18th December 2005 by UPS or FedEx.
If your page is ranked #1 on all three days, you walk away with all 3
prizes.
Contest Rules:
1) In order to be an entrant in this contest you must be a registered member
of the GWW Community.
2) You must place a GWW Button (below) on the page that you are trying to
get ranked in position #1 in Google for the search term 'JeeDubDub'.
3) The GWW Button on the page you are trying to get ranked in position #1
must be linked to the GWW Community forums using your referral code (found
here)
4) If you do not have a GWW button on your page that is ranked #1 or, you
are not a registered GWW Community member when your page hits #1 on the 18th
October, November or December, you forfeit the prize and it will be awarded
to the person who has the next listing that meets all of the contest rule
requirement.
5) Pages on domains owned by GA Media Corporation that may be ranked #1 are
not eligible for this contest for example, any press releases on the GWW
Directory or Community Forums are automatically excluded from winning.
If you wish to remain anonymous during the contest, you may omit linking
the GWW Button to the community however, it must be linked on the 18th of
each month in time for the judging process.
How to win:
Optimize your page to get to the #1 position in Google for the term 'JeeDubDub'
any way you can.
Ensure you have your unique referral linking code on your ranked page so
that we can identify you as an entrant of the competition.
We will be using the results found at http://www.google.com
to judge who the winners of the contest are each month, paid listings are ineligible
to be entered in to the contest.
